Ocean Beach Hideaway

It's a great little spot, clean comfortable and well stocked kitchen in terms of utensils. The cabin itself is dated if that's your thing. If not it's a great place.

Bed was comfortable. Verandah was spacious and it was nice to spend time there, sitting at the table, looking around, drinking coffee or else.

Room was much smaller than we expected from photos. There was another bed ( single) in our cabin and its presence made all the spaces very cramped. Middle space was so small, so 2 ppl couldn't be there simultaneously. The shower and toilet were very narrow. Our cabin was located under the huge gum tree, and debris and nuts were falling from the tree on the cabin roof, waking us up. We were in the cabin number 1. Other cabins were standing in the clear space.

The setup was good and lovely verandah,with nature all around ,clean and comfortable.

The bathroom wash basin was a bit small,but the rest we found was comfortable

Very quiet location yet near by beach and town.

Unfriendly host, very unresponsive to text messages. We booked for 2 nights with booking.com and extended 1 more night with the host privately before arrival. We were planning to stop in Denmark few nights returning home from Esperance. When checked in, I regret for my decision. The cabin had very horrible smell when checked in, doona cover looked very dirty, white bed sheets with some marks on it. Uncomfortable bed, small toilet/bathroom. Separate hot & cold water tap. Spider web all around, arm chair with dirty marks all over. Wifi that does not work. I paid $50 extra for my dog, and read a notice on the wall “Dogs must be kept outside” I wonder how is this place dog friendly???? And what is $50 charged for????? We only spent one night as we reached Denmark at 7pm, and checked out next day. Could not spend any more nights there. Will not recommend this place to anyone and will never visit this place again. This place really needs a good clean and refurbish.

Cosy accomodation right next to the beach. Felt secluded enough yet still apart of the community. Small BBQ outside accomodation was used every day. Its among the lovely trees and you hear the birds sing.

We didn’t realise there wouldn’t be any shower soap provided and a few ants in the kitchen area.
