Lakeside Garden Chalet

It was a perfect place in a perfect location. We couldn't have asked for more.

Set in a beautiful garden setting. Spa on deck was perfect for the cold nights.

Great location close to town. Private and peaceful setting with lovely gardens.

Unfortunately we found the chalet to be in need of a thorough clean rather than a wipe over. Lots of dust and cobwebs, dirty microwave & splashback in the kitchen and the floors needed a good vacuum and mop (including in the corners and under the furniture). Uncomfortable bed. Horrible shower. Disappointing for the price.

So quaint and beautiful and very helpful owners. So close to town. Could have stayed for much longer than 3 nights!

It was gorgeous - if you are a clean-freak though though you may have issues with the dust and quite a few spiderwebs but It didn't bother me. Wouldn't advise staying here if you are 2 x couples who would like some extra 'noise privacy' as the second bedroom up on the loft is essentially doorless

Liked the location, garden views, privacy, potential for outdoor living in better weather.

The dirty mouldy shower door, the lumpy tired bed, the fact that the second bedroom was out of reach unless you pay more, no discount for one bedroom use, difficulty with use of reverse cycle air conditioners was very cold at night, unpaved driveway, not good when wet and muddy. Low lighting in kitchen made cooking difficult at night.
