Steigen Lodge Tiny house

The tiny house was great when we got access. But I did not receive the code to the lock box, and we had to go to a hotel the first night. Given that, however the follow up from the host was excellent.

Place was a paradise and at heavenly location however we were unlucky to book in the time of the worst winter snow storm/hurriucane in Norway past 30 years and were with power off/on, mostly off, unbearable wind speed and unable enjoy neither that amazing accommodation not the area. We shall return back in summer when ferry to Bognes operates (had to drive 12 hours this time). Here is an amazing host, very accommodating and prompt. We stayed only 1 of the 2 night due to weather getting even worse and us concerned being stranded on the island, further out of power and with no heat and the strong. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

There was not so much hot water in the little house.

Our stay at the Tiny House was an amazing experience we will never forget! This is the first time we have stayed in a holiday home like this and were totally blown away by not only the size and coziness of the home but the location and views. This is the ultimate ‘get away from real life’ experience. We stopped off on route to grab supplies and the well equipped kitchen has everything you need. The check in itself was very easy and instructions were emailed to us shortly before arrival. The sofa and living area were extremely well designed and felt big in size for 2 people. The bathroom was large and compact at the same time with the shower being bigger than expected. The big win for us was the extremely comfortable bed! It was sooo relaxing. There are plenty of charger points in the home which is great. we drove around the area during the days, visiting local beaches, the local Joker super market for additional supplies and discovered a very cute local cafe + garden centre selling plants and gifts called Elses Oase. We had the best time and would highly recommend this adventure to others.

We wish it was for longer!!

It‘s absolutely amazing, the tiny house is free standing, the lodges are a bit further down, so at the moment with just the one its an island of bliss. the view is amazing and you can enjoy birds and the scenery from the comfy sofa. it‘s also super quiet - a great place to calm down.

i was there in august and it was just 12 degrees and stormy, so it was great to sit in the snuggly indoors and look out. i can imagine that in summer it will be hot (i think there is an ac though, didn‘t need it, so not sure) there might be more bugs ans moskitos… and there is not really an area to sit outside, as it‘s untouched grassland.
