Harlosh Log Cabins

Stunning location and the interior of the log cabin is so beautiful. Great amenities and everything you need for your stay. I will definitely recommend to others.

John, the owner, was welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. The cottage is private and in a scenic, natural water front location and is well insulated and heated, is equipped with everything a couple could want for a short stay. Milk, coffee, tea, orange juice were provided. The shower is the perfect temperature but is a little small. Internet reception was good. Bring some supplies as local cafes and restaurants are unreliable. The town of Portree, about 40 minutes away, has good cafes etc. All up this property is a great stay.

The shower was a little small but this wasn’t a big issue for us. The cabins other features (equipment, location and friendly owner) more than made up for this.

Location at the end of a lane overlooking the water was exceptional. Use of washing machine was great and utilised. Table and chairs on the veranda overlooking the water was lovely.

Lack of storage space for clothes. We would recommend a set of drawers by the wall which divides the kitchen and bedroom.

Posto incantevole, immerso nella natura e nel silenzio,solo col rumore del mare in lontananza. Casetta calda, accogliente,pulita e fornita di tutto il necessario. Tutto curato nei minimi dettagli. Abbiamo amato da subito questo posto e lo consigliamo. Speriamo di poter tornare!

We had cabin 2. Property is located in a area with stunning views and full privacy. In under a minute from the cabin you reach the shore where one can see seals and sea birds (also from the cabin where John has left binoculars for one to use) It is incredibly quiet and peaceful. The cabin is equipped with all one needs including cooking facilities. John is very friendly and enjoyed speaking with him, as is Karen. John is a fisherman and if you inclined for some seafood (lobster crab etc) do tell him. I would not hesitate to visit this cabin again in the future.

Nothing at all

It was the perfect little cabin to stay, great amenities (little kitchen, great views, nice clean cabin and bathroom) and a great center point for all the things we wanted to do on Skye!

No complaints to give

Un posto meraviglioso, sotto tutti i punti di vista, che ci ha accolto per 3 giorni. Il cottage è curato al dettaglio, pulito, accogliente e in una posizione pazzesca che ci ha regalato risvegli e tramonti da togliere il fiato. Aver potuto fare il bucato (e asciugarlo) è stato un plus notevole. Grazie ai proprietari per questa esperienza incredibile, sicuramente da rifare!

Cercherei una soluzione per permettere di appendere gli abiti e lascerei a disposizione un porta valigie.

Posizione abbastanza comoda per arrivare a tutte le attrazioni (circa 30 Min di auto per ogni punto dell'isola). Riservato e silenzioso, le foche davanti all'isolotto sono un plus.

Cabine un po' troppo vicine. Il cancello per andare a vedere le foche è esattamente davanti alla finestra della camera.
