"Great location with minor hiccups"

6.0

The location of the property is amazing and great space around it too. The host was friendly. The cabin was a great size and comfortable to stay in for what we needed.

Too many flies. There is a UV fly light zapper but that didn’t seem to control the amount of flys in there. Bathroom could do with a revamp. Taps in bathroom and kitchen sink were very hard to turn on and off. Charged £35 for fire pit and wood. However seems to be over priced for the pallet wood that was provided. Logs would be better for burning and would reflect the price more.

"To be honest if we were planning to stay more than 2 nights we would have left accommodation ."

4.0

Location was a little further out than we had imagined but that was acceptable. We provided our own breakfast.

The property wasn’t the cleanest. Corners of rooms had dirt build up. Shower door was not connected properly. Multiple flies in property which we had to contend with.

"Lovely place to enjoy the views and spend evenings outside."

7.0

The cabins were really nice and spacious. We had three together in their own field which made it easy to be together as a group with plenty of space for the children to play. Outside furniture was really useful. It was hot when we were there. Kitchens were well equipped. Plenty of hot water. Lovely views. Owners were nearby and accommodating.

Flies were a real problem. Some of the beds were uncomfortable. Hire of fire pit with wood and bbq too expensive.

Quite and peacefully, pubs and supermarkets less than a 15 min drive away. My son left something in the cabin and they posted it back to us free of charge and did as they said. We will return as an absolute fantastic location, the aquaduct is only 50 kins away and the castle grounds were amazing. Thank you Long Mountin Log cabins for a great bank holiday weekend 👏
