Glencree Luxury Chalets

The view is beautiful.

No cooking facilities,only a barbeque No stove or microwave.

The views are just absolutely stunning! You can enjoy them from the hot tub, the table and chairs outside or from the comfort of the living room. The chalet is secluded and private access to it makes it feel safe.

The chalet has been beautifully set up. Very spacious. Lovely spot. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you.

This is one of the best places I've stayed in in New Zealand. The location is perfect, the accommodation is spacious and luxurious. The spa pool is a superb addition.

Leaving

Beautiful location and very quiet. Facilities were very clean.

A little further out of Kaikoura than I anticipated.

Views and privacy

Nothing to not like.

The remoteness and serenity with great views and ample birdlife. The spa was a delight set amongst the foliage. The place was an oasis, with large lounge, seperate bedroom and super size bed, with a luxe bathroom. We requested the bbq gourmet dinner, and we were not disappointed, it was brilliant! Very comfortable bed and a great sleep. We didn't want to leave!

Property itself is lovely. Views terrific. As a BnB Glencree gets 10/10 for the bed and 3/10 for the Breakfast.

The breakfast was a huge disappointment. Half bag of tired looking supermarket bread. Butter. Unspecified jam decantered in plain jar on shelf (no discernible smell - old?) Some honey - same. Some basic cereals. Yoghurt decanted from original tub to glass jar in fridge. Jar of Milk. No juice, fresh fruit…nothing to differentiate breakfast from what might be scraped together in a time poor household..certainly not a paid for ‘out’ breakfast.

Setting- private and peaceful. The outside spa was a delight. Luxurious bath robes. Comfortable bed.
