Lapin Kutsu Log Cabins

Very functional flat, well located close to shopping streets yet secluded. Excellent support from the owner.

Fantastic log cabin with all amenities and oh how lovely the sauna was! Good location, walking distance to all restaurants and shops.

The communication with the owners is easy and fast. The cabin itself is magnificent. It's super equipped with three toilets, 2 bathroom and a full blown sauna room with double shower, the decoration is tasteful, cosy and the underfloor heating is lovely. The drying cabinet is such a lovely feature when you come with children who love to play in the snow and then have wet clothes. The view is great and the location greater. We walked to the ski resort, to the national park, to the pub, the bowling and to the supermarket. You don't even need transport here! And we did all this at -20 and colder. I can strongly recommend this place and will certainly be back as soon as I can!

The place where you pick up the key is about 10 minutes walk from the cabin and this door is always locked and there is nobody there. You need a code to get in and pick up the key. It would have been more convenient if we had known the code upfront as upon arrival it was -27 and I had to take of my gloves outside to dial a number before getting the code to open the door. The cabin itself was hard to find and walking for 15Minutes with heavy suitcases at -27 trying to find the way is a bad start. By the time we got there, my hands were so cold I couldn't open the door anymore.

This cosy cabin is located directly at the cross country slopes, 500 m from the supermarket. You find all you need in the kitchen. The two bedrooms are perfect. We loved it and will come again.

Good location, well maintained property with good facilities. Would definitely book this property again if stopping in Saarinselka.

Having to pay for bed linen and towels, thought this was a bit strange as I’ve never had to pay for these before! I’d rather this was just added to the overall cost rather than a separate email exchange asking if I want to pay the surcharge or bring my own linen etc

Cosy place with a lovely interior. Perfect Location - close to everything \ every activity starting point and still quiet. Did feel like staying out of town when looking out of the windows.

Towels for the sauna would have been nice.

Lovely apartment - really spacious and comfortable. WiFi is really fast - I was working for part of our stay and was able to sustain video calls with no problem. Great location in the village, within short walking distance of bus stops and supermarket. We would love to stay again next year.

We stayed a week and it was perfect! Very close to the city center and to the Ski Resort.

A beautiful apartment in a great location in Saariselkä, within easy walking distance of the supermarket and restaurants. Although we arrived around 11pm at night, check-in instructions were easy to follow and we found the property without any problems. Inside it was warm, comfortable and more spacious than we had expected. Wi-Fi was super fast and the kitchen was well-equipped for self catering. We saw the northern lights while taking out the rubbish on our final evening!

There's a street light right outside the bedroom window, which means even with all the blinds closed the room never gets completely dark. It wasn't a problem for us but if you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring an eye mask.
