The Lodge

It's a lovely cabin for a comfortable stay in a quiet area. Nice views from the terrace, and you can walk about a little in the area. The grocery store is reachable with a 30 minute walk. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and the cabin was very clean when we got there! We quite liked having a sauna (though one has to stand up in it in order for it to be hot enough - having a few more rocks or higher seats there would have helped!)

The host was unfortunately unresponsive, we got no reponses to e-mails or texts (tried both in case one was wrong) 10 days before the stay and also during the stay they didn't pick up the phone, which was inconvenient since we couldn't figure out the heating or the internet when we first arrived (having a photo/drawing to explain where the gas settings are would be helpful!). They only called back two days later, on the last day of our stay. There was no sponge or brush in the kitchen for doing the dishes, so we had to buy some (since one has to leave all the dishes clean and we wouldn't have had time to run the dishwasher and empty it in the morning after breakfast). They also ask quite a bit of the renters, taking off all the bedsheets, sweeping the floors, separating the trash and carrying it down to the recycling place at the bottom of the hill (which is especially inconvenient with only one trash can). (Also good to know for other travelers: the whirlpool is not a big one like one might imagine, but a one-person bathtub in the bathroom with jets. Just to prevent misunderstandings/disappointment :) )

The apartment was pleasant, beautiful and clean, there is heating in each room with independent operation. The owner is attentive to all needs and provides an answer. The apartment was easy to find. Comfortable beds. A large refrigerator. Highly recommend.
