Cosy 2 BR cabin on coast private hot tub ' Driftwood '

We arrived at the Cosy Cabin location (noted ahead of our arrival of where to park and where the keys would be in case we either of the hosts were not there to greet us) parked with ease in their secure parking drive, accessed the property with no hassles and whilst unloading met Richie who gave us a little tour of the property and guided where everything was. The kitchen although being small was sufficient with a selection of cooking equipment (Microwave/ Air fryer/ single convection hot plate), with kettle and basic utensils it was more than I expected. Cleaning equipment and cloths were provided for the kitchen so didn't have to worry about those ahead of arrival. Inside you are met with a open Kitchenette/ living room (with a fold out breakfast bar to eat at), this room has TV/wifi and several lights with a celling fan to rotate air in the summer months, off of this main room you have the two bedrooms both with double beds/ under bed storage and sufficient plug sockets for phone charging etc. in-between these two rooms is the bathroom which has a toilet/ small sink and spacious shower at the end. The shower is (in my partners words) Amazing and I could have stood under it for ages! It consists of a dual system shower head with Rain shower overhead and smaller more direct head for when you dont want to wash your hair. Outside the front door you have the Hot tub which would comfortably sit 4 people, with windows directly into the kitchen to be able to pass/ grab drinks, the controls are easy to use with lighting both inside the hot tub and overhead with small fairy lights or a more substantial light (controlled by an outside switch). the hosts fitted a netting on the two sides of the deck area to reduce any bugs/ moths from disturbing your relaxing evening. In the private garden area there are four deck chairs and a picnic bench which you can use to eat meals

Well there was just one thing which I commented on whilst i was there, the size of the Fridge is quite small, although we only stayed there for a couple of nights we were always conscious not to get too many food items which need chilling, other than this I wouldnt suggest any changes for improvement its a lovely little location which I will be returning too!

The breakfast was lovely, the location had a lovely walk along the coast and the lodge was wonderful, especially the hot tub

Only 1 tiny thing, our kids loved the animals running around, but it was a little annoying when you wanted privacy and they could easily get in. But was not a issue that would stop us staying again.

Excellent cabin in a fantastic location. Richie and Maria were superb hosts, really friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us. The cabin is situated very near to the South West Coastal Path (which we were walking). We wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again. Thanks

The hot tub was great! The surroundings were relaxing with lovely costal walks. The hosts were friendly and were there to answer any questions. The cabin was spotlessly clean and had a lovely smell. We enjoyed seeing the chickens roaming the grounds and playing fetch with Poppy the dog. The BBQ was easy to use and had the utensils needed for ease. The garden space with the lounge chairs were great for relaxing on in the sunshine. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to book again in the future.

Very nice, cosy, relaxing place. Friendly dogs and chicken kept children occupied. But they leave you alone if you don't want to be bothered. Everything in the cabin looks like in pictures. All very clean. Hot tub nice addition. Hosts very friendly.

Maria & Richie were brilliant hosts...!!! Nothing was too much... even providing a lemon for our G&T. (thank you) The cabin was scrupulously clean, and will be getting the same teddy bear bedding this week. Loved everything especially the peace and quiet.... Not to mention my favourite, Smokey the cat, almost catnapped her...!!
