The hotel canceled my booking just before I arrived, arguing that they couldn’t contact me for a prepayment needed. Unlike other reservations I have had in the past, there was no mention of it in the booking confirmation email, the app, or the app messages. I phoned them back after two missed calls in the morning, but they did not reply. I had to book somewhere else that day. They need to improve their communication with their guests.

A place surrounded by nature.

Nice simple quiet cabins, in the middle of well kept wooded grounds. Furnishings are basic. Close to Santa Elena restaurants and a half hour walk to cerro verde, a beautiful hilltop hotel complex. Great bakery just 3 mins walk outside. Dog friendly. No music at night. Good for people who want to be left alone.
