Bynack Lodge

An excellent location. Situated on the corner of a quiet site with beautiful views. Local area was fantastic for walking and great play facilities nearby for the kids.

The only issue was the WiFi and phone signal, which is understandable given the location. Perhaps a small DVD player to go with the TV could provide a good option for movie evenings on wet days etc.

Well situated within the site and a great location for travel to all parts of the Cairngorms. Very comfortable accommodation with all required space and facilities. Although we didn't meet the owner we did communicate with him a few times as we needed to make a late change - he was exceptionally helpful.

It was great getting up in the mornings and watching the sheep and wildlife in the fields that the lodge overlooks.

If we'd had a screwdriver we would have tightened up the wobbly table. The weather could have been better, but there is no controlling that .

It was a home away from home. All the comforts that you would expect in a great location. Great communication upfront and during my stay

Lovely views, everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Great living room and kitchen space, nice master bedroom with added benefit of an extra toilet.

Small second bedroom, great for children , not suitable for adults really. Garden furniture and outside could do with a spruce up.

Extremely comfortable, well laid out and immaculately clean. Fantastic base to explore surrounding areas and very fairly priced.

Very clean, full cooking facilities for self-catering. Very cosy and warm and easy to operate the heating. More than comfortable for a family of 4. We loved that the chalet was on the edge of the site so that we had an uninterrupted view of the fields and mountains and easy access to explore the rest of the Cairngorms area.

Honestly, our whole stay was lovely. If I had to give a slight niggle, it would be that the WiFi was a bit temperamental if we were all trying to use it later on of an evening, but totally to be expected for the area we were in. As I say, only a slight thing as we were mostly busy out exploring the area anyway!
