Peaceful location, clean and well equipped accommodation. The fishing lake is well stocked. This was our third visit and we hope to visit again soon. Thanks to Rosie and Steve.

We loved the peace, sound of wind in the trees and watching birds flit in and out of the fishing pond

Love the peaceful location, the gates to enter/exit felt super secure and the surroundings of the lodges are highly maintained by the staff. Good amount of kitchenware, handy serving dish for snacks, nice glasses for wine etc. There is a beautiful pub in Upton called the rose and crown serving homemade High quality meals that you literally can't finish! Everyone is super friendly and it's only a 15min walk to and from the pub :)

We were very lucky to have beautiful weather at the lodge so sat outside for hours both nights and both mornings, there are 2 anti gravity chair/sunloungers and a wooden picnic/pub bench... perfectly suitable but after a few hours became very uncomfortable and was hard to navigate all sitting together comfortably outside. That is the only thing I can think to comment on and in all honesty it wouldn't stop me returning as the place is stunning.

everything it was absolutely amazing. Steve and Rosie were the perfect hosts .. the lodges were very modern and spotless .. and any one wanting too fish will not be disappointed me and my wife will 100% be returning in the near future.

Absolutely everything … literally one of the best places I’ve booked! The hosts are lovely, welcoming and extremely helpful what more could you ask for! property was spotless and stocked with all the appliances you’d need. me and my partner will be coming again for sure!

What didn't we like? From the moment we booked to when we left, we couldn't fault the lodge, hospitality and experience! So much so that it would be awesome to keep it a secret but it's a special place that needs to be shared. The lodges are new, exceptionally clean, nicely decorated and spacious with everything you need. A lovely little touch with the cookies and tea / coffee stuff for arrival. A very warm welcome from Steve and later met his partner, Rosie. A lovely couple who are happy to keep out of your way but always on hand and happy to chat when around the site. The fishing was awesome. My partner and son (10) loved it and spent all day by the water. The weather helped and made for some stunning pictures. A quiet and peaceful site perfect in every way. Thank you...I think its a sign of a good stay when you come home and look at dates to return!

If there was 1 thing, it would be the need for bigger mugs...we are proper tea bellys haha
