lovely look out onto the river and enclosed decking that was great for the dogs .

it was very cold when we stayed main gas fire out of order .the small oil heaters took ages to heat living room but ok once we were heat up

The unkept state of the property Outside covered in cobwebs and outdoor furniture covered in mould, hole in decking and gate broken. Inside all furnishings worn and aged. Table filthy. Settee discoloured and cracked springs gone unusable. Kitchen appliances yellow with age chipped and marked. Cups stained with use baking trays rusted. Bathroom mirror pitted and old shower door broken mildew on all seals. Beds uncomfortable with old scratchy bedding. All window covering stained mismatched and blind in main bedroom broken. This property should never be rented out in this state

Check in and check out was very easy. Had everything you needed! Quiet and relaxing location

It does need abit of updating

The location

The carpets were covered in dog hair I was unable to put my 7 month old daugther on the floor due to this. We tried to use the hoover to clean it ourselves but that had no suction. Found the head of a vape in bed with my 2 yeard old son on the last morning which must have been in there or come out of a pillow case.

The lodge was convenient for the showground. It was clean and had a lovely view of the river.

The furniture was a bit dated and the table was sticky, perhaps an attempt to re varnish it? No wardrobes just some hangers but we managed. Information needs to be updated about the bridge.

Wonderful location, reactive host and a great view of the river. Peaceful and relaxing.

Lodge was dated and in need of some TLC. Shower door was broken, handles missing from doors and latch for cooker was temperamental which led to the glass screen dropping a number of times. Lovely weather meant we spent most of our time outdoors, but had we been confined to the Lodge I think we would have been disappointed with our break. Families staying in other lodges at the park were in much better condition.
