It was really like home, not just some place to stay. Furniture and design were done thoughtfully . That’s why we felt being home. It was a great experience and we think of staying there next year again. Even what we saw was better than the photos on the site.

Ilsenburg is a quiet, beautiful town situated by a picturesque pond and with a mountain backdrop. Driving into the town, with all its classic houses perfectly set the scene for our rental; a jaw dropping chalet that left nothing to want further. The chalet is located right next to a stream where you can dip between sauna trips, and right on the foot of the mountain with great playgrounds, paths for walking and biking and near local eateries and gelato-shops. The owners of the property were very accommodating and live near the property so every question were promptly resolved. We are definitely coming back!
