Sunset Villa

Schlüssel wird in Box hinterlegt beim Eingang. Das Haus ist gross und die Zimmer sind geräumig. Ideal sind die Badezimmer, direkt im Schlafzimmer. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und auf der Terrasse ist ein Grill (Gas) vorhanden. Die Räume waren sauber und es hat genügend Stauraum. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus (die Garage ist belegt, da steht schon ein Auto drin). Auf dem Gelände hat es einen kleinen Supermarkt und ein Restaurant mit Grillgerichten und Pizza.

Das Schlafzimmer im Keller wirkt kalt und ungemütlich (wir haben es zum Glück nicht benötigt). Die Poolheizung war nicht eingeschaltet, obwohl wir das so bestellt hatten. Zum Glück konnten unsere Männer das selber beheben am 2. Tag. Die Einrichtung in der Küche (Pfannen, Gläser, Geschirr) könnte mal wieder ersetzt werden. Uns hat eine (Kapsel-)Kaffeemaschine gefehlt. Auch die Bett- und Frotteewäsche ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Schade, dass man die Türe beim Schlafzimmer zum Pool hin nicht öffnen kann.

Emplacement magnifique face à l'océan, calme et pas de vis à vis avec des voisins, facile d'accès. Villa très spacieuse.

Matériel de cuisine insuffisant ( pas de plats de service, ni de moules à gâteaux, et les poêles sont dans un état pitoyable. Villa pour six personnes et non pour huit car la chambre du sous sol est inutilisable car humidité++++ et obscurité+++ De même nombreux cafards dans les salles de bains , ce serait bien de prévenir les clients . Egalement merci de vérifier le fonctionnement du barbecue

Excellent space and fantastic pool

Could do with a little TLC which would make the property fantastic, also the lack of outside lighting at night was a big issue.

The pool was great. The villa had everything you needed. Any problems were sorted quickly.

Linen and crockery was a little dated. Could do with a little modernisation generally.

The Villa was fantastic with beautiful views of the sea and mountains. Lots of British live on the Tauro site and were very helpful. The Spar shop very reasonable prices and the staff very obliging and helpful with ordering taxis.

Grancanarystays were hard to get hold of. We got to site at midday, but didn't get access to our Villa until 7pm in the evening. The only way you could contact them was through WhatsApp and were not online half of the time. We were short of 2 loungers and it took 2 days before we received co-opperation. Reported a leak from the aircon in a bedroom and fused lights in Villa which took them 2 days to sort out. So this became a bit frustrating, cause we couldn't leave Villa unattended and language barrier was hard.

Perfect location for some relaxing winter sun. Our party of 8 made the most of this fantastic villa, plenty of space and fully equipped, the pool and table tennis facilities got maximum use. The location of the villa was a great base for exploring the island in a hire car. If you don’t want to hire a car, a short walk away is Tauro beach which is free of commercial activities and has great snorkelling in crystal clear waters (my favourite beach). 5 minutes walk on a coast path from Tauro beach is the resort of Amadores which has a wave free lagoon beach and plenty of places to eat. Another 5 minutes walk along the coast path is the resort town of Puerto Rico which is also just a 5 minute taxi ride away (€5).

It suited us having teenagers but it wouldn’t necessarily suit a younger family with the location of the rooms and access to the swimming pool.

We had a number of complaints… The integrated microwave didn’t work - a freestanding one was delivered Broken dining room chair just left in the kitchen -no replacement received Heavily cracked drawers in the fridge and freezer - almost unuseable - unresolved The tv remote didn’t work - a new one was delivered The air conditioning in a bedroom wouldn’t turn off - unresolved The air conditioning in one bedroom leaked significantly -not resolved Pool lost water and didn’t appear to have a working filter - not resolved No electricity one morning - took the host 8 hours to reply to my what’s app, text and email. In the end we were forced to fix it ourselves. Being allowed a late check out then having it withdrawn the day before - needed to rebook our taxis
