Casita Joli

The pool was great lots of seating. The villa was big and spacious. Plus the jacuzzi was lovely on balcony. With the kitchen and barbecue u didnt have to eat out all the time. With the europspar quite local you could stock up on all your supply.of food and drink. The hosts were so nice and when we arrived they had some food there. Also made us a delicious cake and when we left had some small gifts. They informed us all the bus times and what was on the island for the kids.

We were a bit from the town so it was taxis or buses but the buses were every hour and sometimes they wouldnt turn up for 2-3 hours especially no 34 bus. I would recommend hiring out a car to not depend on buses and taxis and to explore the whole island like we did.

The hosts were superb, meeting us on arrival. The welcome pack was fantastic and included home made cakes, and they dropped in more cakes during the week. We has a slight issue with one of the showers, but this was fixed within 2 hours - great service. The hosts also came to see us off with a small gift for each of us.

Nothing really, other than maybe some English channels on the TV.

I was travelling with my mother and we received a very warm welcome by Loli, who let us into the apartment and showed us round. There were lots of lovely treats left for us, bread, cheese, wine etc., plus the homemade goodies! Loli and Jose were extremely helpful and responded very quickly to any issues or queries we had throughout our stay. The house itself is lovely, it's very spacious and clean with beautiful artwork, ornaments etc throughout. The terrace area is a nice private place to relax and it was an added bonus having the garden to ourselves to chill out in. We didn't pay to heat the swimming pool, the temperature was a little cool, but not unbearable and fine for a swim! The location is superb, very easy to find and you can drive anywhere easily within a day if you want to explore the island. There is a well-stocked Eurospar supermarket a few minutes drive away which is very convenient. Overall we had a fantastic stay at Casita Joli!

The only thing we were disappointed with was the jacuzzi on the terrace. We were really looking forward to relaxing after a day out, but unfortunately the first time we tried to use it, it didn't get up to temperature. The next day, we put it on a lot earlier to give it more time to heat up, which it did, but still didn't feel as hot as I would've expected. One of the pumps was also broken, so there were no bubbles. Jose did explain that it is difficult for them to get parts on the island, but sadly, this meant we only used it once. If not for this, it would've been perfect!

The host were very kind. All was prepared with some minimum food for the first evening. House was nice and well located with all needed equipments
