Hydrangea Cottages

Great location set back from road, Quiet with a good view of beach. Easy access and parking. Good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Really loved the outdoor bath.

A few things a little tired - Bed not overly comfortable and seemed a little past its used by. Faulty light in kitchen

Host helped immediately when we accidentally set off a smoke alarm cooking dinner and was very gracious when we took one of the guides to local walks by mistake. We also found the place more spacious than expected and super comfortable with lovely furnishings and decor. It was a bonus having a washing machine and dryer on site.

Being a kitchenette, the stove was a bit limited, but manageable.

The accommodation is as described but extremely basic, no view unless you stand up in the kitchen due to frosted windows, there is a seat outside the door but all you can see is your parked car and entrance road. the bathroom is really small and cold. We didn't have WiFi for some time as someone in the next cottage turned everything off including our WiFi (ours was classed a a Hut and not a cottage)

Beautiful cottage for two, with great view. In the night, Kiwis screamed just a few meters away.

Mosquitos! Be prepared.

We were very comfortable in the Rumi cottage for three nights. It is a more rustic accommodation than we are used to but we found it quite charming and had everything we needed. The location and level of peace and privacy were excellent. We also appreciated all the information the owners provided about the property and area with the self check in information.

The bathroom sink counter space is very limited and the wifi does not reach this particular unit well.

View, house, laundry, spacious, excellent beds, patio..
