The rain forest is just beautiful. Peace. Ideal for adults who just want to chill out away from the busy Puerto Viejo.

It's not suitable for small kids. You need to carry all your luggage 400m through the forest. There are bugs in the padding of the outdoor seating area. We've all been bitten. In the upper room were 6 bats living with us. Also, the night tour through the rain forest is currently cancelled - in case you wanted to stay because of that.

"Superb"

This property was breathtakingly beautiful. Walking up, I had an overwhelming feeling how lucky we were that I stumbled into such a gem. The path to the chalet is well manicured and the foliage is gorgeous. You are immersed in wildlife. I wish I could take morning coffee on that porch for the rest of my life.

This place isn't for everyone. My family didn't love the open air living. They complained no A/C and cold showers didn't feel like vacation. If it was just me, I'd give it a 10. The "eco" accommodation "hardships" were totally worth it for a setting like that and always on wildlife entertainment!
