The Old Mushroom Farm

The view from our cottage was of trees and fields. The fireplace in our cottage was set and we just had to light it. Extra wood was provided. The cottage was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. It's a peaceful place where you can relax and unwind. We also enjoyed the on site restaurant where we had breakfast.

It is so rustic, quiet and surrounded by nature the people are down to earth and friendly and I loved the big bath.

The place is beautiful and well kept. Lawn surrounding cottages is beautiful and well kept Cottage was very clean, however some blankets need a wash.

Cottage I stayed in was very small. Lounge area is very small. Not enough place to sit . More chairs and benches can be placed outside especially on the lawn. Waterflow and hot water in bath is a problem No place to put your soap

This spot is outstanding! WOOOOOOW! you won't be disappointed! The breakfasts, the amenities, the staff, the pets, the views and everything is so well thought out and spectacularly presented. Wifi in the rooms were a pain but i guess thats part of winding down. (I didnt know about paid wifi otherwise i would have used it!) The little fireplaces were so cool - spacious showers and bathrooms, JUST AWESOME! My dog loved it the most!

A little outdoor set would have been nice to have a morning quiet coffee, and the little dam nearby needs a little bench or two but other than that - there is not one complaint!

We loved the rustic feel to the whole property. The beautiful views and cosy units, it's definitely a place we will come to again. We will try check in earlier next time to get access to all the shops on the property.

We stayed for such a short time so there wasn't much to critisize, nothing bad to say at this stage

The room was very spacious, and situated in a great location for cycling in Karkloof. The Home Slice has great coffee and meals, which was right outside our room.

The wifi is incredibly poor, and at most times didn't work.
