The location is good and is peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub was brilliant. The information folder was a great idea with post codes and places of interest.

The whole booking was impersonal and very formal. Never met the host. The keys weee in the lodge. No one was available when handing back the keys.

Peaceful, well turned out accommodation, few flaws, but in general a lovely place to stay. Comfy beds, heating, towel rack and kettle

The flooding shower and dull hot tub area; they all need livening up

The Lodge was ideal for my stay very comfortable and clean inside.

The outside of the lodge was quite shabby and parts of the balcony were broken. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. The pans needed a good scrub before I could cook in them. The outside furniture was dirty and the area by the hottub was shabby. All in all it was nice but could do with a bit of TLC.

Easy check in process, property was reasonably clean but in clear need of a deep clean/ overall. Cracking to corner of work surface and mucky grout in shower. Clean enough, but more like one would expect of a room at Butlins. Needs repainting and scrubbing up.

Bed is woeful. As other reviews suggest this needs replacing. Do not book if you suffer from back pain - the bed feels like it is 40 years old. The shower doesn't work very well - it floods the bathroom unless you remove the drain cover. For the price one would expect better provision. There is now shower jell, hand soap or dish cloth provided. Only a washing up liquid. There is also only one roll of toilet paper provided which seems stingy given the price. The facilities in a premier inn are better, which is not what I expected. The hot tub was good, but in a weird fenced off area and not attached to the house so quite a walk in the cold to get back to the room. The kitchen equipment was limited, with only one bent frying pan provided, making it tricky to cook breakfast. On top of all of this they emailed saying there was a charge for having a dog, despite the booking conditions saying there was no charge for this (we ignored the email and didn't pay) It's a shame, with a little more love and a little less money grabbing this property would be great, so as long as you bring your own toilet paper, shower jell and mattress it would be a 5* stay

Lovely location, cabin was big and beautifully designed. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Perfect for dogs

Bed wasn’t the most comfortable that would be our only complaint and the shower didn’t drain properly until we removed the cover over the drain

Lovely and clean. Secluded area nice and quiet. Perfect place for a couple of nights away to relax. Hot tub was perfect.

No WiFi in our lodge but didn't effect us much at all as it was nice to not rely on it.
