The Retreat, Strawberryfield Park

Fantastic lodge very high standard of cleanliness and very modern. Very central to Glastonbury, Wells and of corse the gorge . Will definitely stay again

Unfortunately there was no wi fi the entire time were there but im sure if we had reported it earlier it could have been sorted. Tumble dryer also didnt work and there were a few little extra bits that needed replacing that we addressed with the staff.

The retreat had everything we could have asked for, very comfortable.

Bedroom blinds let in early morning light, would be good to have blackout blinds. On a safety point, the tumble dryer has been used previously and the lint filter was clogged up, which could potentially be a fire hazard. The water container wasn’t emptied either.

Amazing stay in a beautiful lodge, couldn't have asked for anything more. The beds were comfortable, the hot tub was great and the facilities were optimal. Would highly recommend staying here.

That we had to leave to go back to work on Monday and couldn't have stayed longer! :)

Beautifully clean and presented. Most things needed in kitchen were available . Plenty of space for everyone.

Beds (mattresses) were very soft. Parking space very tight, you have to be a confident driver! Would benefit from having oven gloves and kitchen towel available. Hot tub was too hot! It’s a mild November but we had to leave the lid off and turn it down before we could use it. Might be worth looking at to help reduce heating costs. Lots of mention on reviews of luxury toiletries. There were a couple of bottles of shampoo and conditioner but no shower gel, or body cream. which was more required than hair products, and a bit disappointing.

This was definitely a home from home; comfortable with every feature and utensil you might need. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. A washing machine and tumble dryer were even provided. TVs in each bedroom. Comfortable sofas and beds. Decor was very modern and the building is very spacious throughout. A full bathroom with a bath and an ensuite to the master bedroom with a large walk-in shower. Nice touch leaving a bottle of wine and biscuits for us.

Honestly, there was nothing to dislike.

It was absolutely idyllic, comfortable and clean.
