Beautiful cozy cottage with a stunning view over a bird rich wetland and ocean with mountains looming in background. Ideal place for stargazing at night..nice deck for sipping tea and relaxing and the cottage is well designed with all mod cons and lots of light. Very close to town of Coromandel with some good cafes--Pepper Tree and Umu...

It was fantastic..no drawbacks

I have been travelling around the world for 10 years, and I have rarely found a place and a person as nice as Liz. First, she allowed us to arrive early for check in, and she also let us leave two or three hours later than the check out time. I spent New Year's Eve with my girlfriend at the boathouse and it was incredible, the place is simply wonderful, the views and location unbeatable. Liz also gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate NYE!!! If you are looking for a nice, quiet and well-located place in Coromandel, look no further, this is your place!! Everything was really perfect!! Many thanks to Liz for her kindness and help in everything, it's nice to find people like her along the way!!! 🤗

The privacy, scenery, and location Everything was considered great little touches everywhere

It's not really a dislike pointing out that at the entry point step was too high; it could be a trip hazard.

Perfect location and accommodation to unwind and relax sitting on the deck watching the tide and the birds. Cottage was well equipped and shortbread was excellent. Lovely hosts.

The Boathouse offers great privacy and beautiful views over the bay. The WiFi is great and the kitchenette supplies everything you neet for a short stay.

Over all the furniture and kitchenette appliances are a little out of date. Same applies for the bed as it is quite worn out.

Well designed studio apartment overlooking the bay, fantasic views. Sitting on the back deck enjoying a few gin & tonlcs as the sun set.

Stunning location, beautifully comfortable self contained cabin set in a pretty garden. Very welcoming hosts.

Couldn’t fault

Location was perfect for us bang in between township and where you go for the fishing charter. My partner was very happy with the complementary coffee and biscuits thankyou. Lovely hot water. Cozy clean and quiet.
