Cabañas Mirador Lago Ranco

Fabulous cabin with all the basic needs for a great stay with an incredible view. The lovely owner was very responsive, with clear communication on how to find the cabin. There is quite a steep drive up but it is manageable and worth it when you get to the top. The firewood and fire was great and little kitchenette and large fridge were perfect for cooking meals. Lago Ranco is very close and has a large supermarket and fruit grocers to stock up on before you arrive.

The pictures do not do the property justice. It is cozy, comfortable and well appointed and the view is astounding. We not only loved the accommodations, but the host as well.

The views from the cabanas are spectacular and this is their major positive feature. As regards the quality of the living areas and bedrooms for the 3 bedroom cabanas, everything was good and most utensils and furniture are provided.

The second double bedroom is very small with no view. Getting to the property is challenging as it is not signposted at all and the host speaks almost no English, so help on the phone is useless. Along the way, there is a 100 m very steep incline. Our SUV with driver only could not manage up the slope in first gear without others pushing from behind - a rather precarious operation. So follow the dirt road from the main road and when it starts going downhill, take a left turn onto the steep incline. If you get to the top, it's all downhill from there.
