Suspended Wooden House - Monte da Cortiça

Very tranquil, unusual property. Ideal for a quiet break away from it all. Hosts were very friendly and left water etc which was very kind of them. For info for other guests - I got a pretty good 4g connection with maybe 20mb download so you can still connect to the outside world if you need to. The property is at the end of a farm track, which might not be particularly comfortable if you drive a small car. There is a pool a short walk away but didn't use. The driving directions you receive from the host are perfect and take you directly to the property.

Very nice place. I loved the two huge dogs and the house is amazing.

Excellent host. Very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful surroundings. Exceptional room with facilities that provided excellent comfort. Our host Nuno was warm and welcoming and made sure we had an excellent stay.

Super cool place to be , only one hour from Lisbon by car and ferry, tranquillity, freedom, infinity swimming pool

The mountain bikes which came with the house could not be adjusted manually.

The big monsters (dogs :P) were adorable, the best companion! We had all the space for us since the other house was empty and the owners were not there, so the dogs made sure that we were not feeling lonely. The pool was great and well-maintained. We use bicycles to ride from the house to the pool, it's not far but it's easy riding below the pine trees. The house itself had everything that we needed, very comfortable and with great views.

The ONLY thing that I can point out was the flys... jesus, I never had an experience with that amount of flying stuff. I know, it's near the river, in the countryside and the neighbours were cute cows but I wasn't expecting that.
