I liked the quietness,the place it was fantastic!

The reason for not having a self catering facility.

Great location, walking distance to all amenities and the beach. You can walk everywhere which is great if you don't have a car. The room was comfortable. Nice garden for doing yoga in the mornings. The host was friendly and helpful.

The door needs to be fixed. Key broke one night, got fixed immediately the next day and I was given another room on the property to sleep in which was great. However, using the new key for the remainder of my stay was still not a smooth process. I had to push the door and try a few times which isn't ideal.

The rondawel is quite adequate for a weekend if you are on a budget yet want some great fun. The hosts are absolutely awesome - we had a great chat to mates and made new friends - even met Sue, V and "Meg", a wonderful lady who attended the same primary & high school I went to in Cape Town in the 70/80's.

Comfy, all you need on a business short trip or a weekend away to explore Port Alfred and surroundings, a stay over , clean and affordable with a stunning qwerky garden.

Room a little humid and the fan is very slow
