La Cubelette

I loved staying here. It was definitely one of my most memorable Booking.com rentals. It’s not just the outside that is made out of wood - everything in the house down to the counters and pantry are made out of wood too. It’s small and cozy with an incredible view of Mont Blanc literally right in front.

When we pulled up to the address, we were confused as the building didn’t even remotely match the pictures. It turns out a number of the properties in this area are owned by one family, and The Cubelette is actually down an unpaved, narrow road behind the grandfather’s house. Not a big deal - just a warning not to panic if you think you are in the wrong place:) I was with my elderly parents who found the stairs to the bathroom difficult to navigate at night as there is no railing.

The chalet is an absolute gem. We loved it so much. It is beautifully built, with unreal views. The late checkout time of 12pm was also really good. Would love to go back.

I spent a lot of time choosing the right place to stay for one night, and I’m very happy with my choice. I honestly didn’t want to leave — two nights would have been even better! The chalet is very well thought out and has everything you need: kitchen appliances, utensils, and comfortable sleeping arrangements for four people. It really captures the charm of a mountain cabin. The views from the windows are breathtaking, and there’s a lovely outdoor terrace with a table. The host, Vincent, is very friendly and punctual. You can drive right up to the chalet, although the access road is a bit narrow. I highly recommend this place!

This was SUCH a memorable stay for us!! This cabin is in town and super nice with out-of-this-world views through huge windows of Mont Blanc!

A real gem. Beautifully constructed modern chalet/cabin made of antique wood, full of character and a very well-planned space. Four of us (family) fitted comfortably. Unrivalled view of Mont Blanc and Les Bossons glacier. Close to town and roads, yet very peaceful. Great communication from Vincent. Highly recommended.
