Fantastic location, comfortable chalet. Nice and quiet and relaxed. Everything I needed was provided and communication with host was spot one. Really recommended! Bonus greeting by a friendly dog!

Perfect location for us

Every thing was perfect

Beautiful, roomy, comfortable place in a quiet remote area with interesting things not too far of a drive away. We arrived and were excited as it immediately seemed like a 5 star stay was ours for the night in our first European vacation and first significant vacation in our 36 years of marriage.

The host was not available as the voicemail indicated they were on annual leave. We could not get questions answered, the WiFi was essentially useless, and late that night we found only 1 cm (roll thickness) of toilet paper remaining on the only role of toilet paper, and no one in the main house to help. In the morning the slimy front deck boards were slick and my wife fell and severely hurt her hip and groin, causing us to cancel our "bucket list" volcano hike in Iceland and change other plans, with her painfully limping for what will be the biggest part of our vacation and long after retuning home.

The host and chalet are equally warm, cosy and charming. Lovely place to stay for a quick getaway with friends or family. A car or bike is needed to get to places however, staying and cooking at the chalet during your entire duration would still ensure a great stay. Will definitely return!

Amazing hosts, very responsive and welcoming. Easy walk to town, but feel of being well out in the country. So peaceful.
