Modern Funky Private Chalet at the Beach

The chalet is very nicely finished and very comfortable with a sea view which we had not expected so a lovely surprise. Only a 2 minutes walk to the beach which was lovely. There are excellent walks all around the area which are very scenic and extremely enjoyable and ideal with a dog. Overall, superb accommodation in a great area.

A real home from home. Wonderful decoration, clean and funky! We could walk to the beach, town restaurants and trains easily. Equipped with everything we needed.

Shower was a little small, but adequate.

Almost everything! The place itself was great, comfy beds, exceptionally clean bathroom, everything looked almost new. It was very nicely decorated, massive living room window to let the light in, very well stocked, etc

When I arrived, every surface except the TV was covered with a significant layer of dust, the floor was dirty, there was dog and human hair on every floor and bed, and the kitchen sides had a lot of food crumbs. I contacted the host immediately and sent pictures, and asked if there was a hoover, which there thankfully was. Their response was not adequate, and there was a refusal to accept some of my claims (despite photo evidence). If the response had been different and they had taken responsibility, then I would have let it go, but they didn't, and that rubbed salt into the wound as I spent the first two hours of my holiday dusting and hoovering, and cleaning the kitchen, instead of taking my six year old son to the beach.

The chalet reminded me of my childhood holidays but with a modern twist! It was very clean, cosy and comfortable. Our dogs loved being so near to the beach. Walking distance to the train station allowed us to visit several other seaside towns and to access the coastal path.
