Closeness to the city centre.

Way too cramped. It was like living in a charity shop. Needs a complete clean out of surplus food and toiletries. Very untidy. We had to clean spider webs off all outside furniture. Found a large live spider in the toothbrush glass inside the bathroom. I had to repair the front door locking plate around the handle. Also repaired the internal bedroom door which was falling off the door frame.

Friendly owner/manager, location, quiet, cozy, amazingly furnished with over-the-top breakfast/snack/indulgent snacks and small food choices.

Comfortable cottage with everything you could possibly need.

There is a lot of things in the cottage - it is difficult to ensure you don’t forget some of your own things.

The main advantage of this property is that it has a lot of amenities (washing machine, mini fridge, etc)

Our impression was that this small guest house was just crammed with extra items that the main owner couldn’t store in their main house. For example, there are unnecessary furniture items such as a desk chair without a desk, DVD stack, etc which make the room which is already small even more cramped and difficult to navigate

Very comfortable with a lot of homely touches

The hostess was very generous in providing breakfast items. The refrigerator was filled with food items, cupboards were full of food. We don't eat much but for younger folks it was nice to have all kinds of food including a honor system with candy and chips etc/. Every little thing was thought out like tweezers. Every thing a person might need including a big TV and movie to watch. Communication was excellent. Hostess was kind to extend check out by 15 minutes and was very receptive to this.

The room was too small for two people. The bed and shower were small for my 6'4 husband. Room was a little funky and filled with stuff. A table in the small room made it hard for a suitcase or to move around. Low ceiling. All this made it not so cosy. The value for our money was not great. Also there was a musty smell in the room and we opened the windows. The bedding was synthetic sheets made it too warm. The house cleaner knocked on the door at 9.58AM which was a little shocking but we should have been ready to leave sharp at 10 yet I had requested to leave 15 minutes later and the hostess was gracious and said it was fine. Overall, did not enjoy our stay.

All goods were provided to make a great breakfast.

Nice guy, swish area, comfortable bed

Very pokey kitchen and bathroom, place in need of attention--- front door Ill fitting, bedroom door hanging off. Shower curtains not great, overcomplicated TV, and a long way from town (not the property's fault, just BDC untrue mileages)
