The property provides a relaxing environment for anyone who seeks an enjoyable break away from the city. The hosts (Ann and Barry) are very warm and welcoming. They both ensured that our stay was pleasant and easy. The garden is well kept with beautiful flowers and hedges. The place is located at the top of the hill and this provides a fantastic view of the valley and mountains in the area. Historical sites such as the first Haenertsburg police station and an old wagon track can also be found on the farm. Local shops and amenities are close by where you can conveniently acquire some local produce and food. Everything was in working order and would definitely recommend Wellstead Country Manor for anyone visiting this beautiful area.

The scenery. The smell of the flowers and forest is a absolute bliss for the soul. Then the fact that it is "away" from everyday life...

We were made very welcome by our hosts and given great info and directions before the time. Their attention to detail was very impressive and the unit was very well equipped.

Everything is spot on from booking till checkout, properly is comfort and super clean , The host really puts the extra care in the detail of the service ! Will not hesitate to book again .

This is a chalet so we had to buy food ourselves, and this is by no means a negative. The location was the best and definitely no false advertising. Pity it was misty and could barely see the valley below, but the tranquility was the highlight of our stay. Ann and Barry made us feel so welcome with a personal with our names written on a board, the woodstove on to keep the chalet warm and a bottle of bubbly on ice

Absolutely no faults with the stay. The road can be tricky when wet (muddy) as there are at least two inclines. It is not reflective of the lodge itself Not a problem if you have a 4x4 or similar.
