Fire pit, general items available, blankets provided, hot shower, quiet surroundings. Kids loved the play area. Variety of outdoor games available on-site. Self check-in. Directions and location pictures clearly marked. Good communication throughout by Dirk/Alicia.

Rustic feel and farmstyle living - however some finishings can be improved, such as applying an additional layer of paint in some areas; and putting in bathroom & bedroom door handles on the outside, while also slightly lifting the respective doors higher - as they scratch uncomfortably on the floors when opening/closing. No bedroom side lamps.

The place was generally cute and peaceful

No where was it mentioned that the place is located on a gravel road, 2km away from the tarred road, we only learned this after getting our directions The dam was also in a bad condition, we didn't get to kayak
