Woodbank Park Cottages

Great location In beautiful setting, hosts had left a cheese platter in fridge with fresh eggs which was a lovely touch. Also cereals and jams etc were provided which we were not expecting. Fire place along with heat pump meant you were always lovely and warm.

Shower did not have sufficient barrier to stop water from going all over bathroom floor which is a bad design fault and meant you had to use your towels to mop it up. No wifi which was supper disappointing as we did not realise this.

The cottage and location were superb. Quiet and serene with beautiful outlook over farmlands and mountains. Cleanliness, warmth, facilities, comfort, amazing attention to detail, privacy, and a truly incredible platter of food goodies on arrival. The cottages are gems!

A fantastic stay. Everything was provided as well as more which was amazing. Lovely location and view. Mike was very accommodating and friendly.

A lovely little cottage with the most wonderful views of the night sky. I've never seen the milky way so clearly with my naked eye before 😊 the facilities are everything you need for a stay far away from the big smoke. The fireplace was lovely on a crisp evening, and the bed was very big and comfy 😊 we appreciated the complimentary cheeseboard in the fridge and the pool bag for use at the hot pools, very thoughtful ❤️ the sounds of the native birds made for a delightful wake up call, truly Aotearoa at its best 🐦‍⬛ I highly recommend getting up early for the sunrise over the hills, you won't regret it 🌄

We weren't aware there was no wifi until we arrived, but turns out this was stated on the booking. Upon checking the booking we found this info on a separate page you needed to click through to. Might be good to put that on the front page, although perhaps we shouldn't have just assumed. We managed fine for two nights 😊 Also didn't realise the cottage would be in such close proximity with another occupied cottage, we were very aware that there were other guests metres away so not quite as discreet as we initially thought, but these are very minor concerns, everything was fantastic 😊 (also I thought we were being invaded by sasquatch when I heard deep guttural bellowing from a nearby field, I don't know if they were deer or alpaca or something else, but they scared the heck outta me when I first heard them!) 😅
