The property was in such a nice environment and had enough facilities included to keep you happy

Location was amazing. Peaceful, beautiful, great views, stunning property. Only about 50minutes drive into Port Douglas so a great place for peace and tranquilty but still able to partake in the Port activities. Butterflies - so many, so beautiful. Great ride up to beautiful Cassowary Falls with Andy, the host, meeting the local eels, fish and turtles. The accommodation was so well presented with great facilities - loved the spa, the comfy chairs on the deck, the thoughtful touches such as fresh butter and milk in the fridge, lots of ice in the freezer, plenty of coffee including a choice, the grapefruit dropping off the trees outside were delicious. Of and how could I forget the breakfast! Those mushrooms were amazing and so was everthing on the plate. Thank you to our 5 star hosts.

For me personally a softer bed. BUT then I have Polymyalgia and a frozen shoulder so suffer from pain. The bed was huge with a lovely feather topper and would suit most people very well. My husband found it very comfortable. Cant think of anything else I didnt like!!

The driveway; more so we hired the wrong car :/ driveway was a bit steep and rocky for a small car

Truly amazing stay, hosts have thought of everything to make it an absolutely exceptional stay! The kitchen and supplies, the bbq area, the spa, the views, the bed linen and pillows etc etc were all absolutely spot on! The waterfall and property surrounding the chalet are absolutely priceless!

Loved the property - the views, the solitude, the butterflies, the hot tub. The hike to the waterfall was a highlight of the two weeks in Australia! The breakfast was great too and Andy was very accommodating as a host! We would absolutely considering coming back on a future trip.

The only thing we didn't like was the drive to the property. It's about two miles of gravel roads and a gravel hill up the driveway at the property, neither of which we knew about when making the reservation. The rental car agreement specifically did not allow driving on unfinished, gravel roads, so we were likely violating the terms/conditions and not insured. Luckily, we did not have any issues but it was a little stressful, especially with the rain.

everything!!! new chalet with amazing views, high end appliances (bed, hot tub spa, TV, Bluetooth speaker) and delicious breakfast and full kitchen and grill to cook! stocked fridge and the nicest, friendliest and most accommodating hosts possible! do the waterfall tour - amazing!! can’t wait to come back. highly recommend! traveled the entire eastern Australian coast on our honeymoon and this was our favorite place. so relaxing

Breakfast was awesome, we ordered one of each continental and hot breakfast, plenty of food for 2 people.

It rained a lot, but we made the best of it and went on the Falls tour with Andy.
