Porumbacu Treehouse

The property is really nice, hidden in the trees. Since it has so many windows, you can enjoy the nature right from the bed. It is quiet and the hosts are amazing people, really doing their best so that their guests can enjoy the stay as much as possible.

Unfortunately, our property was kind of cold the entire stay. Our property has a fireplace, but we kind of found out that even if you are cautious and keep the fireplace going, the property won’t get fully warm. Also it might get a bit tricky in the night to wake up every 2 hours and start the fire again.

Our favourite stay ever!!! Amazing location, nestled in trees, the room was spectacular! So much space, everything in there was crafted to the highest quality. The bed was comfortable and had a beautiful view. It was so peaceful, we wish we could stay longer! We were greeted by a charming man who helped us with everything. Wonderful breakfast inside a picturesque house was available but sadly we couldn't stay. We can’t wait to return.

Remember to bring cash, there is no card machine on site or in the town. It is a 14 min drive to the nearest one, this is just something to keep in mind but not a problem.

Everything was truly amazing in the treehouse. It was spacious, spotlessly clean and beautiful and having a stream just outside just added to the whole experience. we loved having the dogs around, sitting near the fireplace and seeing the trees surround us from every window. But what made it a stay we will never forget was the owners. Tibi and his father Michai were extremely kind and eager to help in everything we needed, and we needed... In the morning when we found out that our car's battery was dead Michai tryed to help us and even bought us a bettery in Sibiu and restarted the car so we could make it to the garage without further delays. It warms the heart to meet such lovely people who put their hearts in the place!
