High Haven Durmitor

Our trip to Zabljak was great thanks to High Haven. Our host Ana was always just a message away, and I truly felt cared for. It had everything we needed and more - I think that the sauna is an exceptional bonus. The house is pretty spaceous for it's size, has a nice backyard. Everything is ready for you and there are clear instructions. We got welcome beers and coffe, wich is unusual for us =) Thank you for having us - it's been wonderful to relax in such a cozy chalet.

Before our arrival, Ana and Goran reached out to provide all the details on how to get to the cottage. Upon getting there, we were warmly greeted by their friend Stanka, who met us with the keys and gave us a tour of the cottage. We especially appreciated that Stanka had already lit the fireplace and left some welcoming drinks (chilled, which was a great touch!) waiting for us. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated and immediately felt like home. It has all the necessities for cooking, cleaning clothes, and entertaining games. Although it’s surrounded by other cottages, there’s still plenty of privacy, along with stunning views of the mountains. It’s an easy walk to the center, where you’ll find a supermarket, an excellent bakery, and some great restaurants. After a day spent exploring, the cottage’s sauna was also a welcome treat. Overall, this was a fantastic place with wonderfully friendly owners. We absolutely loved it here—it was definitely our favorite spot in Montenegro.

It was such a pleasure to stay here! A super lovely mountain cottage, with all the amenities one could hope for (even a sauna), well decorated, and extremely comfortable. The fire stove heated the whole house quickly and evenly. The hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful with and provided all the informations we needed.

Everything was good. Location is super (if you travel by car). Hosts are very nice, quickly replied to all our questions. The apartments looks exactly as at the photos. The kitchen is fully equipped. Also there is a darts which gave us a lot of fun. To sum it up, I recommend this place for a leisure time with friends. Also there was a little black kitten who was very friendly, please share with it food.

Great location, everything is a few minutes away, yet in a quiet area, far from the crowds. Friendly and kind hosts, they explained everything we were interested in and revealed things we didn't even know about. The house is equipped with everything necessary to make every guest feel at home, and our favorite additions were the barbecue and sauna. Beautiful view both from the room and from the terrace. We were passing through, but we are looking forward to returning for more days!
