Ramblers Retreat

We had a lovely stay at Glenholme Retreat this weekend and what a lovely lodge it was.This is the 2nd time we’ve been to the holiday park and it never disappoints, I messaged Louise and Davey to organise balloons and banners as it was my partners birthday and it wasn’t a problem. It was definitely worth the money.

The park is a lovely park with lots to do around it

The bedrooms were very small which made this very difficult to get changed etc The main bedroom with the double bed the bed was so uncomfortable with a dip in the bed on one side One of the main reasons we rented this property was so we could take our dog and keep her in the outdoor area however the gate didn’t remain in place therefore we didn’t use it The WiFi didn’t work properly and went off and the phone signal isn’t great so we had no TV to watch for approximately 2 hours whilst it was pouring of rain

The location is very good for walks. Enjoyed the experience. Overall every thing went very well. The reception package was a good touch (wine and chocolates) thank you.

There were a few faults with the hot tub some of the jets didn’t work properly but we enjoyed having this facility. One of the dining chairs need repairing or renewing.
