Permata Beach Chalet

The BEST beach bungalow I have ever stayed at. Beautiful sunrises every morning and pristine beach right in front of the porch. It has literally everything you need: outdoor beach shower AND separate foot wash on the stairs to your cabin, so much storage space and hooks to hang wet things, refrigerator, plates etc. Spent the most peaceful and enjoyable three days of my life here. Will definitely be back someday!

The location on that beach is wonderful. There is a electric pot provided to boil water so it was drinkable. Provided water to clean sand from your feet and brooms. The room was as clean as it could be given the basic design.

Small window. One unit had a larger window but was not able to book that unit. Bugs coming though the bathroom plumbing is somewhat expected but a little bothersome.

The best chalet on the beach in the surroundings. I stayed at couple of them and this is the best one. June is very nice and friendly.

June was really nice and helpful. I had an ant and cockroach problem and she helped me immediately. The chalet has a perfect location on the beach. The outside shower is nice after a swim. A small tap next to the chalet is great to get rid of the sand on your feet. Many restaurants nearby. Air-conditioning works well. Small refrigerator is provided. Three towels for one person are provided and you get clean ones if you ask. Shower gel and shampoo are provided.

The only thing missing was a water tap for drinking water and a lamp next to the bed.

+ brilliant location right on the beach - have to wake up early to see the sunrise! very serene beach with not too many people + great host who is extremely helpful and responds within minutes - helps organising trips (snorkelling, jungle trip) and drop off + the chalet feels sturdy - the toilet is great and there is hot water! + shampoo, shower gel, towels provided + there is a mini fridge + chairs provided to chill at the beach + mini markers and restaurants nearby + turtle nesting area, you can spot where turtles lay their eggs and go to nearby juara turtle project to learn about turtles the photos don’t do it justice! it’s great for the value and for a chalet.

The chalets are simple but very functional and right on the beach. Location wise, this is also on a really good stretch of the beach, with nice sand and some little snorkeling spots nearby. Communication with the host always very helpful, answering all our questions. I only wished we had planned to stay longer.

the water heater for the shower not working after 5 minutes and need to constantly switch offed and on again

The beach, the beach, the beach. Right at doorstep, very clean, calming, beautiful. Hear the waves at night.. Chalet clean with amenities like an air b&b. Relaxed, laid back locals.. met June the host, her dad, Jai picked up and sent back to Jetty... all warm welcomed. And all the snorkeling in clear water.. Just amazing.

Just didnt like the pricey food and nearby food outlet that never open on time.

Close to the beach with a kind of retro feeling. The sand is soft and beautiful. Not many tourists. After five days the villagers knew us and vice versa. The host lady is cute; she sorted out all our requests effectively and quickly.

Nothing really. If you want a fancy place, it is not for you. I might complain about the waves in the sea 😂.
