Chalet degli Abeti by AMA Val di Fassa

Wat een fantastische en prachtig ingerichte accommodatie!! Zo mooi ingericht, van alle gemakken voorzien. En brandschoon! Ligging is ideaal, midden in het dorp. Supermarkt is 200 m lopen, er zijn voldoende restaurants in de omgeving. Écht een aanrader. Er is ook een wasmachine aanwezig, als je reist met een gezin is dit heel fijn.

Het huis ligt aan de doorgaande weg, wat dus helaas wel voor rumoer zorgt. De slaapkamers liggen aan de kant van de weg, als je met ramen open slaapt, kan dit wel storend zijn. Het balkon ligt aan de achterkant, maar helaas zijn hier veel bomen. Ipv het mooie uitzicht op de bergen, kijk je dus direct tegen de dennenbomen aan. Als laatste, het is een huis met 3 verdiepingen. De onderste is het kleine appartement en de bovenste verdieping is het appartement met 3 slaapkamers. Ertussenin is een appartement, wij vermoeden dat dit permanent bewoond wordt. Na 1 dag stond de overbuurvrouw al aan de deur met de vraag of de kinderen stiller konden zijn. Het is dus voor de onderburen blijkbaar erg gehorig... Begrijp dat dit voor hun vervelend is, maar als ouders ben je dan wel voortdurend de kinderen aan het corrigeren dat ze rustiger moeten zijn en zit je niet altijd op je gemak...

Suited our needs perfectly.

Location is great, short walk to the Coop supermarket and other speciality shops. Loads of restaurants nearby too. Great for families with beginners and young kids as the beginners' slope is just behind the Chalet. In fact, you can see it from the balcony.

Would be great if the washing machine is located in the apartment instead of having to go downstairs.

I missed the fine print which explains this is the ground floor flat only. There's no mention that the living area is right next to the communal laundry room. One morning when I was catching up on work I had to play music to drown out the noise of cleaners or occupants talking loudly behind the door 2 metres from where I was sitting. Someone then tried to get in the front door. Other occupants walked past the living room/ kitchen windows several times. There was constant banging and footfall from occupants upstairs + there is no privacy whatsoever in the garden as it is right next to the main road through the village. Even the bathroom had no privacy! The toilet is right opposite a glass door with only a flimsy venetian blind to partially provide cover from people going in/out the laundry room. The internet went off twice during my stay + a village-wide power outage. You also have to remove your own rubbish to recycling bins. The double bed is actually just 2 single mattresses pushed together so very uncomfortable.

Beautiful and spacious apartment. Clean, comfortable and modern. I especially liked the shower. Very convenient to have access to a washing machine. Location was great, peaceful and private setting around the chalet with the big trees and garden area, yet within a 5 minute walk to supermarket, bakery and restaurants. Many beautiful hikes within a short drive. It was very easy to access, and we had helpful and quick communication with the staff.

No complaints! If I were to add one thing, I would put some mugs in the kitchen for tea drinkers.

This chalet was beautiful. Wonderful layout, beautiful antique furniture, and comfortable beds. It was the perfect place for our family of five. We were there during the slow season so many businesses in the town were closed, but that didn't matter as there was enough open and we weren't there for the shops. For cycling and hiking we had to drive to other locations but they were close by. Overall, a wonderful stay in the area.
