Holiday rentals

The greenery surrounding the stay was refreshing. There were ducks just walking on the lawn. The cabin was quite big enough for the four of us. It even had garden chairs and table. They seemed to have a lot of facilities for kids available on premise but as we were just visiting Amsterdam we had no time to make use of them.

The property could only be reached by a Connexxion bus which is a different operator than the metro operator. So you have to buy extra tickets which cost almost 5€ per person. There was no possibility of buying groceries nearby. We didn't have a car. So you had to take a bus to a place about 30 mins away. Our cabin was infested with ants. They got into the food laying on the kitchen counter. There was only one big trash bag available at the stay. So we had to stuff the trash into it. The towels weren't included and costed 6.5€ per person extra!!! The bathroom didn't have a bath mat to dry your feet after a shower. The reception said "not every place has that". Whatever that is supposed to mean.
