"The photos only gives you a glance at how nice the place actually is. Would come back."

The location was a bit hard to get to, but that was due to slips and road closures. Nothing the owners could do. I managed to get there in the end by adding 4 hours to my route. Well worth the travel.

Both a pro and a con, there was no cellphone coverage, and no wifi. Would be nice to find out which roads were closed before we took off, but we managed it without any issues.

We really liked the cute chalet, the beautiful woodwork and how it was built, the relaxing quietness was great and hearing the kiwis at night was a bonus

The wood as much as we loved it, it was really loud and creaky going up and down the stairs

A lovely stay in beautiful surroundings. We stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. The glow worms walk on the property was magical.
