Fairytale Cottage - Peaceful Getaway Near Bled

Everything about this property was great. I highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful place to explore the Bled area.

Sweet little cottage in a stunning location! We felt like home and enjoyed all the little details that made our stay very pleasant.

If you are tall you have to watch your head while going into the bathroom or going upstairs

Dear Urška, thank you for your hospitality. We visited many places, goes by offroad trail as you recommended, swimed in Jasna and Lago Predil, saw many waterfalls, slept in our camper :) talked every night outside with fireplace. It was a nice week. Petr with friends :)

The view from this cottage is just amazing. Having this little hut completely to youself with a cute garden, bbq and beautiful surroundings is the optimal basis for a magical trip. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

It is truly a fairytale cottage. The surrounding area is beautiful, quiet, and safe. The home is small but cozy. It is very traditional while still having everything you need. We went with our Husky and Weimaraner. They both had a wonderful time, and we were able to have them off lead around the house, able to explore the vast open area. It is central to the two lakes, which is where you'd want to go, and it's close to many hiking trails, sights, etc.

Perhaps that the bathroom is a bit small and we needed a short break between showers to wait for for the hot water .

Every single detail, the decoration, the views, the beds, the experiencence .

We loved the dining area which provided a panoramic view of the mountains - The view was amazing - The restaurant down the road was fantastic and would highly recommend - It was cosy and warm - We could wash our clothes which was handy - Urska was a very pleasant and accommodating host. - It was so peaceful and quiet and watching the deers was lovely in their natural habitat. - You can hike to lake bled like we did. The round trip was 24km. Or alternatively the Gorje which was also unique. Would highly recommend downloading the all trails app!

The stairs were quite steep and you have to walk down it on an angle. - a dish rack would have been great for hand washing in the kitchen. (It is rustic) - my husband kept hitting his head on the bathroom door - I found the shower and bathroom to be a bit awkward and not airy. We could basically get one hot 5 minute shower in and then the other person had to wait till the water heated up again - the driveway is on the steeper side but manageable.

We felt like in as fairytale.

We loved the location, the view, the fresh air, the peace and quiet. It is a place where you can completely disconnect and recharge, while at the same time having all the comforts of civilization within hand's reach (there's a lovely restaurant with traditional local food at 5 minutes walking distance from the house and a supermarket in the next village). The house is perfectly located for exploring the wonderful countryside around Bled, Pokljuka Radovna valley and Mojstrana. Urška is a wonderful and well informed host - her tips were invaluable. And last but not the least - the property is pet friendly and our dog loved her stay as much as we did!

The only thing that I didn't particularly like was the price. Although the place has a lot to offer, I felt that the price could have been a bit lower.
