Juniper Ridge Chalet at Eagle Crest Resort

Molly was wonderful. She helped us out with changing our dates last minute. I would definitely stay there again. It was clean, very beautiful, and quiet.

The only thing I would have to say I didn’t like, really, was that the description stated it was a four-bedroom. In my opinion, it’s a three-bedroom with a loft outside the master bedroom that has a daybed and a twin pull-out bed underneath. Two of our friends couldn’t make it, thank goodness, because that loft literally has no privacy whatsoever. Other than that, I have no complaints.

I love the size our whole family could stay together!!! I loved the style of the house. everything was really clean and the host was really nice. We enjoy the porch and the grill.

for me, the master was upstairs and was way too hot and bright for me to sleep. so I didn’t get too much sleep. we were there at the end of July. other than that, everything was wonderful and that’s just a personal taste issue. and there’s cleaning you have to do at the end, but I guess that’s what you get for an Airbnb.

The location and size were accommodating and we love and appreciate the allowing of pets. We always travel with our dog and it can be difficult to find accommodations. Having ceiling fans is always a plus. The price was affordable, especially because it was a last minute trip. The location is centrally located for day trips and going into town, Redmond. It was peaceful and quiet.

Our Chalet was extremely in need of a deep cleaning and updating. The dust was thick everywhere. There were cobwebs and dead flies (bugs) on windowsills. The carpet was filthy and stained covered; maybe update with tile or hardwood for easy rental cleaning. The trash was overflowing when we arrived and wasn’t emptied until the day before we left. There was laundry left in the dryer. We were unable to utilize the hot tub, one of the main reasons for staying at the Chalet, because it was filthy, actual dirt lying everywhere in the seating areas; the filter was also filthy, in desperate need of replacing. And, there is NO outdoor lighting in the Hot Tub area? (Apparently there were other tenants who occupied the Chalet prior to our stay but, the hot tub was NOT serviced or cleaned before our arrival) The lock is broken on the back sliding door, and having a stick to secure the door closed is impractical and embarrassing on your part, and the blind’s throughout the Chalet are broken, and in desperate need of replacement. The HVAC AC unit wasn’t working properly, it automatically reverted back to 90* within 10 minutes of adjustment. It was extremely hot, especially in the upstairs area. When we reversed the ceiling fans, in order to draw the colder air upstairs, the 1/2”, at least, of DUST went flying…all throughout the living room and bedroom area upstairs; we were forced to vacuum and dust, luckily the kitchen was covered and safe from the dirt. By our 2nd day we figured it out, how to change the automatic settings to where it would stay where it was programmed. The HVAC AC intake vent was filthy and the filter needed replacement. NOTE: The unit itself needs servicing and the Thermostat is outdated and no longer programmable, and unable to accept any application updates; needs replacement. Bottom line: replace your maintenance/cleaning contract, they’re not doing their job. Drop in, inspect the place yourself. And, UPDATE your Chalet!

Beautiful home and scenery

Couldn't even stay!!

The carpets were filthy and it smelled awful!! We couldn't even think about staying here with our family! The porch and hot tub were very dirty and the dumpster were overflowing with trash. There was a broken outlet which was a safety hazard. The host only gave us half our money back when we couldn't even stay because it was so awful. She said they were going to shampoo in between guests but the cleaner should've let them know to not rent until it was properly cleaned. The photos on booking.com were inaccurate and they should have fought for us to get a full refund. We have stayed at many rentals and we own several as well. We had to rent another property at the last minute and it was expensive but thankfully decent!
