Easy check in and out. Location on Ski Mountain, we saw lots of bears! Nice view of the mountains and the Ober gondola. Great space for a family of four. The driveway is level to the street, making it easy to pull in and out. Close to downtown Gatlinburg and an easy drive to Pigeon Forge. We also stayed at this same chalet last year too.

When we entered the cabin the carbon monoxide detector was going off. This was quite startling to us because we do not have a detector like this at home. I called the cabin company and they sent a maintenance man right away. He said the device was faulty and there was a backup detector that was not going off. Also, upon arrival the bathroom downstairs the bathroom rug was quite wet like someone had just got out of the shower, this was strange. The tvs in both bedrooms had no signal so we could not use them, which we would have used them only at night so it was not that big of a deal. The second night we went to use the hot tub but it was not hot, this was disappointing. My husband adjusted the temperature so we were able to use it the next day. There were also large spiderwebs with eggs on the porch with the hot tub. The dryer makes an awful squealing sound the entire time it runs. It is very loud. The mountain roads up to this chalet are for an experienced driver, very narrow roads with sharp corners and drops and there are no guardrails.

Property needed to be cleaned better and maintenanced. We found dirty underwear sitting on the washing machine. The pillow had questionable stains on them. The dryer works but it is extremely loud and noisy. Went to use the coffee pot it began to smoke and smell like it was on fire. Had to take outside and not use.

Bed post had wood on floor and got toe ,TV downstairs volume didn't work,light bulb in bedroom upstairs bad,no gas or iqnighter didn't work on grill

We really loved the Mountain View! We also got to experience a momma bear with 3 cubs.

The light in the down stairs bedroom was blown, the water pressure in the showers was not great but ok to be as expected for how high up the mountain we were, and the hot water didn’t get very hot in the showers. Other than the minor stuff everything was good for a weekend getaway. I do not recommend going during car show events tho as traffic was a pain.
