Stay at Bokkoms in Paternoster Self Catering Accommodation

The 2 bedroomed flat was close to the beach, at most a 5 minute walk, and the bedrooms were spacious and ensuite. The rooms have sliding doors that both opened out onto a braai area, with a sea view, that would be lovely in the summer. The flat is also within walking distance of the Pater Noster Water Front that has restaurants, coffee shops, a threatre, and a play area for children. (There are local blackouts, but this property has an inverter, so lights, fridge and TV stay on, even if the power is off.)

Unfortunately, we went during a very cold spell in September, and the electric heating was inadequate. There were fireplaces in both rooms, but only panel heaters in the bathrooms, and one blow heater. The blow heater tripped the electricity, therefore we stopped using it. The plugs in the kitchen area are also temperamental, and the glasses had a lot of dust on them.

It was self catering so no breakfast. It was nice having a little outside space

There were 2 benches art the outside table. One was very skew. I wouldvhave like a few chairs with backrests for sitting outside

The rooms were so spacious. The patio was private. We didn’t feel load shedding because there was an inverter. It was clean. Additional special touches such as an air fryer, coffee plunger, rusks and sweetener were completely unexpected and a lovely touch.

There was no microwave cover. I really would have appreciated that.

What a stunning place to go for a holiday. The rooms are big and comfortable. The hosts are wonderful people and are ever ready to ensure you are having a good stay. And my dog kids loved their stay too!!
