We express our extreme disappointment and discontent with our recent stay at Hazyview country cottages. Despite booking months in advance, the accommodation fell significantly short of our expectations. Upon arrival, we were dismayed to find that the cottage bore little resemblance to the images and descriptions provided. The rooms were infested with lizards and roaches, and emitted a potent odor of dampness, urine, and alcohol. Furthermore, the manager's unprofessional demeanor and attire during our meeting was unacceptable. The security guard's behavior was equally rude and unaccommodating. Despite our prior payment, the manager offered no alternative solutions or assistance when we expressed our dissatisfaction. Instead, we were informed that we could cancel our booking and seek alternative accommodations at 12:00 AM. We find it inexcusable that a booking made months in advance was not adequately honored. Our expectations for a paid accommodation were not met, and we were left to fend for ourselves in the middle of the night. We hope that in the future, the management will take necessary steps to ensure that their accommodations meet the standards promised to their guest.

Enough space for all of us and our things. It is very affordable. Wish to visit again if they replace all bedrooms windows.

Broken windows and some out in kids bedroom and my bedroom, had to use plastic & cellotape to try close. Chalet seem abandoned as some trees have grown, entering the bedrooms through broken windows. The floor was not cleaned and cutlery not enough for all guests.

I liked the friendly staff at the cottage from welcome until departure day. The rooms were excellent though they need retouch of an iron in every room that goes with ironing board.

There are no activities only swimming pool, maybe add a playing ground for kids with toys to play with

The Staff were super Friendly and Helpful. The Pool was Blue and well maintained. The rooms were cleaned daily. House was Air-conditioned which was awesome. Area was Safe. Lovely little market right outside the main gate. Within an hour's drive of many tourist spots like, God's window, Kruger National Park, African Silk Farm, and Graskop. Was Quiet and peaceful.

Kitchen could be better Equipped (peeler, sharp knives, additional sets of cutlery, pizza knife). Front right stovetop was not functioning. No tray above element in oven to prevent messing on elements. Air-conditioning unit was leaking into the house, we were able to make a plan to prevent this during our stay. During large rainfall the patio floods and water runs under the door into the lounge area. There was a dog that would yelp and bark some morning along with a house alarm going off on occassion. Main room ceiling light wasn't working on the fan. Left bedside light has nowhere to plug in without an extention. 2nd bathroom shower pressure is low.
