This was an amazing place that overlooks the Midlands meander, making it perfect for an RnR experience and river below was an added bonus because I got to take a dip in a little private setting .Judy was an excellent host to us .The friendly dogs also played their part for hosting us .Definitely will be returning !!!

Clean and neat 2 bedroom cottage on a hill overlooking a meandering river. Loved the dogs. Loved the little fireplace.

Overlooking a factory/warehouses. Not ideal on the meander. Heating in bathroom and room wasn’t working although the fireplace in the lounge was nice. We didn’t get the cottage we booked but it was nice. Outside lighting for the braai would be nice.

Great value for money! The cottage is equipped with everything you need. We absolutely loved our stay and would fully recommend it

Property was clean and neat and thoughtfully decorated and fitted out.

The little bathroom upstairs has a little sink that is hooded by a glass shelf- unfortunately does not enable one to brush one’s teeth as an adult. The little bathroom is large though for a unit basin on a standalone table as is downstairs. Fresh towels every other day would be suggestion although perhaps we should have asked. Shower hot water was unpredictably not very hot but perhaps timing was off? Placemats to preserve the beautiful wooden table at meal times would be a suggestion. An extra set of blankets upstairs or perhaps a thicker tog duvet on the beds upstairs during the the winter months as the fireplace does not provide heating throughout the nights A big thank you for the electric blanket- was a saviour from chilblains for me!
