Treetops Cottage at the Castle

We love it here! it’s super clean and spacious with good amenities. The cottage has beautiful view and is very quiet. The owner prepared Fruit, Bread, Milk, Bacon even a bottle of wine for us. We feel very welcomed.

Quiet location. Lovely view. Car park at entrance. Very clean and functional 2 level cottage. Owner left fruit basket and other food items to enjoy. Comfy bed. Two tvs.

Somewhat remote from town centre - definitely need a car.

A spacious, clean and supremely well-equipped cottage. Harry and Shirley were exceptional hosts and provided everything that we could possibly need for our stay, including a greatly appreciated welcome pack.

This was the PERFECT stay! Harry and Shirley are brilliant hosts, friendly, helpful, informative. We had complimentary wine and beer, fruit bowl, Breakfast for the first day, and spades to dig in the hot water beach! Treetops is so adorable, comfortable, quiet and amazing value. The views from the property are lovely… and don’t miss an invite in for a beer and look out of their main property if it’s given! This is pound for pound our best stop on North Island and we wish we could have stayed longer.

Treetops Cottage is THE perfect place to stay in the area. The cottage is great, the view stunning and it is very well-equipped with anything you may need. The hosts are fantastic, they even left us some food, wine and fresh fruit. Finally, it is in a great location. We hope to come back soon!

Really lovely, spacious property with fantastic views. Thoughtful hosts. Highly recommended as a base for exploring Coromandel.

Fantastic location up on the hill with views across the bay, nicely decorated, with lots of space and a fully equipped kitchen. An easy drive to some nice beaches and Whitianga town. A great place to end a tour of NZ!
