Pet friendly and comfortable.

The difficult entrance as mentioned in the other reviews. Also note the disclaimer wrt distances to town and beach. Distances are in a straight line and it is a farm stay, quite far from everything. Accomodation also better suited for younger travellers.

"Excellent"

The location! Glorious view from the hills. So close to everything you need, walks just around the corner from the bottom of the hill. An owl came to visit on the first night! The shower was exceptional, with a view straight out into the valley. Ninja the friendliest staffie had a blast keeping my dogs busy. Jacques is also a wonderful host, attentive but non obtrusive at all. Very well thought out position in proximity to the main house, still very private. The horse is also very friendly!

The driveway entrance can be a bit tricky, if you come in from the top its not so bad. The fridge is quite noisy, if you're sound sensitive you might get irritated! (Open plan layout) it becomes white noise after a short while. The couch isn't very comfy! But you shouldn't be on the couch anyway, you should be outside taking it all in!

"Beautiful views but uncomfortable sleep."

Exceptional Views!

The bed was very bouncy and soft. I think for one person it would be OK, but when you are 2 sleeping on that mattress you feel every move. Suggestion: Definitely replace bed. The space also allows for a larger bed. A little bit more attention to detail should be given to linen and towels (bedding is not in a good condition and both bedding and towels had long pet hair on them). The only cutting knife in the kitchen is very blant. The braai grill brush should be replaced. The couch is also not very comfortable and has a smell.
