Hill cottage is an amazing, peaceful cabin. It is close to local attractions with plenty to see and do. Sue welcomed us and made us feel very welcome even leaving us with some cake to enjoy. The cabin has everything you need so a holiday. The cabins are amazing value for money and we will definitely be back. Thank you

"Excellent stay near the shore of Loch Ness in a town with lots of places to eat, buy fuel and eat."

Everything was good. It was a nice looking self-catering cottage with kitchen. The view of the mountains on the other side of Loch Ness was stunning. There were wild pheasants, ducks, birds and other animals all around the cabin all day long. There were sheep across the fence. Phil helped me get a couple walking sticks cut to length... he is a very talented wood worker with an excellent shop. Phil answered many, many questions for me about the area. The heater broke one night and it was cold; but, Phil had it promptly repaired (things break, it just decided to break while we were there. The cabin was at a central location, we traveled from west of Ullapool all the way around to the north, east and south to the Cairngorm Mountains. We spent eight nights there and would have been happy to have spent more time there. We left from there to tour the Applecross peninsula and on to a stay on the Isle of Skye, both were an easy driving distance from Hill Cottage Log Cabins . This stay is highly recommended.

I would like to have stayed longer.

Perfect location with lovely hosts, accommodation was clean and very comfortable. Ideal for exploring the local area and Loch Ness.

Perfect getaway for relaxing.Although not full kitchen had great facilities and well equipped. Very comfy and cosy.

I find it hard to complain about anything but if i had to make comment the kitchen chairs weren’t massively comfy. Other than that everything else was perfect!

"Perfect accomodation for a short stay in Fort Augustus"

The lodge was very cosy, the bed extremely comfortable and the en-suite shower room was perfect. The gift of freshly baked cakes were a very kind gesture.

The TV setup was a little complicated to operate - but after the owner helped familiarise us with the system it worked fine.
