AU FARE MOENAU

Roland and his wife really know how to make guests feel welcome. Roland collected us from the airport and arranged car hire. A lovely breakfast of baguette, cheese, and fruit each morning. The balcony overlooks the lagoon and the sunsets.

Our hosts were exceptional every way; accommodating, considerate, and kind. We loved to wake up to the sound of the waves and the artfully designed breakfast consisting of seasonal local fruits, baguettes, coffe/tea, juice and condiments. Private access to the beach and the neighboring grocery store was a huge plus!

The landlord and his wife are very kind people, who tried to help us. The breakfast served was rich and very good.

We stayed one night during the rainy season, and this was not a good coincidence, because the fare was open from above and it was very cold inside. Although in the booking.com, it was written that the fare provides free toiletries and a hair dryer, it had neither of the two. It was also written that it had cable channels but the TV was not working. Last but not least there was no Internet in the room.

Location and breakfast was fantastic. Ronald and his wife were very profesional, helpful and kind.

The breakfast was excellent as was the location and the view over the water and across to Moorea. It's on a local beach so expect to see locals fishing, swimming and enjoying normal life. It's just 5 minutes down the road from beautiful Vaiava Beach if you want to spend some time at a classical white sand beach. The hosts are lovely and speak English, French, German. Don't hesitate to ask them for help or recommendations. Good value for money given the view, location and breakfast.

Generally, Map apps don't work well in Tahiti, so you'll need to note the address number carefully - Google Maps will not lead you to the right location. Also, if you are a light sleeper take earplugs. There are sometimes dogs and roosters making their usual morning noise. This is advice for anyone travelling anywhere in the Pacific, not just Tahiti!

A stay like no other! Looked after & made to feel welcome in a fashion fit fir a King. I have never stayed in a hotel ever that gave such a wonderful expirence. I was made to feel like I was invited in to Tahiti as one of there own, exceptional !

The location , amazing breakfasts, easy use of local buses safe, friendly at home on holiday.
